Paying Respects to the Victims of the Danforth Shooting

Today I drove to Danforth, with my son, to pay my respects to the victims of the shooting that happened on the night of July 22, 2018.

This senseless tragedy rocked me to my core and made me realize that we have to do more to address the gun violence within the GTA as well as the mental health issues that plague our cities.

However, as I was contemplating these issues, my son wanted to write something to honor the victims.

I was so moved by such a selfless act, by someone so young, that I just had to share it since it served as a reminder that the little ones definitely do lead the adults towards kindness.
